Coordinator of the hematology services at Oncologia D’Or in Brazil. Senior Editor of the journal Hematology, Transfusion and Cell Therapy (Brazil). Associate Editor of the Annals of Hematology (Germany).

Founder and member of the Steering Committee of the International Consortium on Acute Leukemias (ICAL) of the American Society of Hematology (ASH).

Published over 200 papers in international medical journals throughout his career. Research focus on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of malignant blood disorders.

For the past 6 years, he has been the Coordinator of Hematology at Oncologia D’Or. Full Professor of Hematology at FMUSP.

He was a fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Coordinator of the Leukemia Service at the Cancer Institute of the State of São Paulo (ICESP).

Researcher at the D’Or Institute for Research and Education (IDOR).

President of the International Members Committee of the American Society of Hematology.
